Juliet Kim, DACM, L.Ac
Dr. Juliet Kim is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, a licensed and nationally board certified acupuncturist, and clinical herbalist. She received her doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA, and her master's degree from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York, NY. Juliet is a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York and is nationally certified as a Diplomat of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Prior to her graduate studies at PCOM, Juliet earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Stony Brook University. She worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for seven years as a senior Research Technician providing technical assistance in science and medical research in cancer biology. Juliet integrates Eastern and Western medicine philosophies to approach holistic care. While she treats a wide variety of complaints, her special interests are pain management (acute and chronic pain), headaches/migraines, women’s health, and emotional/psychological wellness. Juliet is committed to facilitating her patients’ physical and emotional well-being, and to help them progress towards healing. |
